The premier of the new Sri Lankan movie Sinhabahu was screening on 11th July 2023 in Brisbane as a fund-raising initiative of the Chapter. Sinhabahu is a family movie on a historical theme by the acclaimed film director Dr. Somaratne Dissanayake starring a top-ranking cast of today’s versatile actors of the Sri Lankan screen. With a significant effort of coordination and planning to overcome many logistics hurdles, the premier screening was a near sold-out event to an audience of 166.
